How we started
Palm Ride Exchange was born from a simple desire to uplift our community in West Palm Beach. Founders, inspired by the local spirit and camaraderie, noticed a significant number of neighbors struggling to access crucial benefits. Many of these individuals were eligible for assistance programs like SNAP and Florida Medicaid, yet remained unenrolled due to lack of awareness or resources.
To bridge this gap, we established Palm Ride Exchange, utilizing vehicle donations as our funding mechanism. This way, every car donation becomes a lifeline, helping us connect residents with essential benefits. Our mission is rooted in the belief that by empowering our neighbors, we can foster a stronger, more resilient West Palm Beach.
