Everything you need to know about the paperwork for donating your car in FL.
When donating a vehicle in Florida, you'll need to sign the title over to Palm Ride Exchange in the designated area. Florida does not require notarization for this process, which simplifies the transfer. It's essential to notify the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) about the transfer, especially if there's a lien holder involved or if you have a lost title.
If you have a lien on the vehicle, ensure that it’s paid off before the donation. If the title is lost, you can obtain a duplicate title from the DHSMV with a proper application. Once the vehicle is donated, we handle the remaining paperwork for you, ensuring a seamless transition.
